Would you appreciate peace and quiet in a mountain setting, only 10 miles from Charlottesville? Do you yearn for country living? This rural retreat may be the perfect home for you!
Perched on a mountainside, surrounded by hundreds of acres of forest in the Southwest Mountain Historic District of Albemarle, this passive-solar earth-berm house is a delight in all seasons.
Picture yourself here all year:
Spring: Birdwatch through the picture windows in your living room.
Summer: Grill, eat outside, or container garden on your deck.
Fall: Watch the mountains change color all around you.
Winter: Curl up with a book next to the wood stove on a snowy day.
